Hi there

Im looking at 2 defenders in Wexford and Tipperary areas respectively, Problem is I live in wales so i wonder if any mechanically minded PH'ers would go look at the pair if you are very local? I will then fly over and collect the right one!

PS will i be liable for import tax or vat if I import these into the UK?

Many regards!

Best to ask someone in the DVLA about the tax.

In my vague knowledge of EU tax laws, the tax has already been paid in another EU country so therefore can't be re-paid in another. Double taxation iirc. We get shafted for 'registration tax' when we bring cars over from the UK. It's effectivly a loophole to get more tax than just VAT on the price of a car. It's not a tax on the car, it's a tax on the registration plate of said car!

Don't think you guys have the same.
