Cork to the Vee

If you are in the south and want to meet up in Cork for the run to Tee at the Vee (this is a link to the main thread http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... here are the details and add you name to the list if you want to join us.
We will meet in Little Island between 10.30 and 11.00 for a few coffee's and the usual chat(bull$hit)
The Costa Coffee doesn't open until 12 so it might be best to meet in the car park long side the Spar. When you drive in towards Harvey Norman's the Spar is on your left and as you look at Spar there is a large car park to the right of the shop which is normally quite and would suit us to meet.
We plan to leave for the Vee sometime around 12.00.
There are a few different ways of getting to the Vee so anyone that wants to go their own way that is not a problem. I'll have the Z06 so will either go up the main Dublin road to Cahir on to Clogheen and up from there or if amyone wanted a longer run you could drive to Dvngarvan on to Ballymacarbry, Clonmel, Ardfinnan,Clogheen the roads are good on both of these routes so we will see how things pan out and decide closer to the date which way we will go.

Yes I'll be at Little Island. With a few more car enthusiasts. I'll ask them to post if they have an account, so you know exactly who's going. Never been to the Vee but after looking at Google earth, It looks like a mini Stelvio Pass lol

Is it a C5? Is it in Cork?
I know of a C5 Vert, which hasn't been on the road for a few years. There is also a C6 Coupe. Some one told me a while back they had seen a C5 Coupe in the tunnel but I have not seen it, maybe that's the one you see.
I am not aware of any other C5 or C6 Z06's other than mine but you never know what's out there.
