What to do in Belfast?
Discussion
Im a local so if you need any advice just shout.
Giants Causeway is really impressive and great roads up to it but its about 50ish miles away from Belfast. The Whole north coast never fails to impressive.
Local to Belfast is the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, not the greatest museum but great if you like trains or old rural irish buildings. Not many cars though. some airplane stuff which is quite good as well.
Ulster Museum and Botannical gardens isnt too bad but they have removed a lot of content in the past few years but some very interesting things and a nice museum to see.
Plenty of brilliant places to eat.
Titanic dry dock is pretty cool to see, and the two big cranes are fairly impressive but theres not a whole lot there yet.
Shopping in the centre is the same as any large town now though.
Maybe try the sightseeing bus? Never been on it as im a local but for someone who has never been to Belfast it should be good.

Ive been to Belfast several times visiting a mate, titanic area will kill an hour, i did the pump room tour a few weeks ago, quite interesting, but not much to see really. There's a big titanic museum on the way £92M has been spent on it, opening next year in time for the 100 years anniversary
grab a car and do the 20 mile coastal road, absolutely stunning scenery on practically deserted roads.
i also went to the British round of the hillclimb series on the outskirts of Belfast where the B road was closed for the weekend, that was pretty cool with some super fast single seaters. Then next day onto to watch a round of the Irish Drift series and 1/4 mile drag events on an airfield
attemepted the Giants Causeway twice but have just carried on past, as both times it was loaded with coaches full of tourists

Visit falls road, I'm being serious here, it's quite fascinating and has some real if not pleasant history.
Quite an intimidating but interesting place, the murals are amazing.
Some taxis do a falls Rd and Shankhill Rd mural tour not too expensive and as Urban Sports says fascinatingQuite an intimidating but interesting place, the murals are amazing.
