Hi guys

The small metal brackets which attach to the roll over bar on my elise S1 to which the side roof bars attach are getting pretty worn down and don't hold the bars securely anymore.

I'm trying to find replacement parts online, but am struggling. Has anyone come across any of these recently or know the part number?

Thanks

Elise Parts sell them. Can't remember what to search for though. Just search "roof"? Cant rail fixings? Roof fixings? Something along those lines.

Fitted those to mine as its a 1998 car and had the earlier design. Far more secure and easier to fit/remove.

Thanks - can you use the same roof bars? If they work it'll be bang on, I'm just struggling to see how the roof bars will clip into them..?

There are 2 different types depeding on your chassi number. Lotus changed them at VIN 3332. Have a look at the following diagram and it will show you the break down of the roof which may help: http://www.deroure.com/diagrams.asp?TBL=1221&M...

Yes, you need the upgrade kit not just the strikers.

Need to drill one hole in to the rails to screw those in to, but if I can do it anyone can smile
