Hi Folks.

Can anyone recommend some driver training as I'm not getting the best from my Elise SC. I find myself "over driving" it. I constantly tell myself to be delicate with the controls etc but I just haven't got this car sussed. I owned a Honda S2000 abit back & thought similar principles would apply but everything happens much quicker in the SC.

I've booked onto a trackday at Cadwell Pk in a month or so. I'm certainly going to be going out in the "newbie" group & feeling my way around, where as in the Honda I could push on with the fast boys...it's a circuit I'm very familiar with from my motorcycling days so learning which way the road goes isn't a problem...getting to grips with the car is!

I've heard the Hethel driver training days are good but how are they tailored? The car obviously has so much potential & ability I'm absolutely the limiting factor...by some margin at the present moment.

Andy.

Go and see Andy Walsh at www.carlimits.com

They do training at North Weald airfield just outside the M25 in Essex.

He's highly recommended by me and many others.

+1 Very worthwhile day out! And you get discount from some insurers for attending.

I didn't feel entirely comfortable on my 1st trackday in my Honda Elise. I did a couple of car limits days and was much happier. Andy is a top bloke.
