Hi all,

Incredibly trivial question - I'm driving up to Yorkshire from Cambridge on Thu/Fri, and being the patriotic type I thought it might be quite jolly to fix a Union flag to the car. Any suggestions as to the best way to secure it - perhaps just behind my head somewhere - for 70mph (plus a bit ;-)) operation?

(The weather forecast says - roof off!)

Cheers,

Nick

Had a Cross of St George on my aerial last weekend, 70mph plus with no problems. Just one of those cheap ones taken off it's stick, pushed onto the aerial then secured at the bottom with a small cable tie.
Will not have anything for the wedding though.

I once had this problem fixing the moospeed flag to an F40. The blu-tack would let go at anything over 150mph.

Could you not have used self tappers, screwed into the carbon fibre, or maybe a couple of 4" nails into the spoiler.

What car was it again ???

Before & after a rather spirited run over the mountain section on the IOM last year.
Obviously not the way to go with a flag
