Badge!!

Any of you folk know how to change the front lotus badge on the elise or do you have to take the entire front body panel off?

S1 = take off the front clam as it is bolted
S2 = It's a sticker so just peel it off (carefully!)

On an S2 the front badge is stuck on with a foam pad and the badge has two locating lugs situated at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock.

To get mine off I sprayed on plenty of quick detailer to lube the area up and then worked a cloth between badge and clam using a sawing action. (top to bottom until i reached the lugs and bottom up). Fishing line would probably be ideal.

Takes a bit of time and I found it best to be able to walk away from the job for a bit every now and then.

With the badge off it is easy enough to tidy up any bits of the foam pad that remain.

New badge went on with a silicon sealant.
