Guys, I'm thinking of buying an Exige CUP 260 and need to know what to look out for?

I currently have a Noble M12 GTO 3. So a big decision to change to the CUP 260.

Any Info. positive or negative would be appreciated.

Also have a look on Exiges.com

Might take a while to get registered but worth a look.

Very stripped out inside, ideal if it's an out and out track toy but if you plan on doing some longer road drives I'd maybe consider a Roger Becker instead. Same power output but with a few luxuries like A/C, sound insulation, radio.

Both models still have the pretty useless OEM intercooler which suffers badly from heatsoak, a bigger one is available from Lotus Sport (£1Kish) or Forge (£600ish) to help with this.

I've just upgraded my 220S to the Cup set up and it's awesome, tho I'd imagine straight line pace is no more than a std GTO3 ?

I had a Noble once, and IMO for track day fun the exige is better - but the the Noble a better road car (not quite so noisey and a little smoother). Both cars suffer the heat soak issue but both have ways around it.

Check if you're tall, the different A frame roll over bar in the Cup 260 prevents the (lovely CF HANS) seats from going fully back...

Thanks for all your input guys.

Decided to stick with the Noble for now.

I did test drive the CUP 260 it's an awesome car and seriously quick, I think I'll probably change this coming winter.
