I had this on my S and it was an exhaust mount vibrating against the floor pan. The other culprit can be the undertray slightly loose. Neither is anything to worry about and an easy fix so just pop it into the dealer and they can sort it while you wait. smile

Try sticking you hand behind the seat and press hard on the vertical part of the plastic shelf (the big bit that covers the bulkhead) if it goes away when you do this that's your problem - after many swapped parts this proved to be the culprit for me. Bit of foam behind it and you're sorted. Other suggestions above are also known issues though!

Check the thingy that goes round the exhaust. Heat sheild that's the one. If it is, its a stagering 93 quid for a new one.

They are made of tin foil and fall apart really easily. It will sound like its coming from between the seats as it rattles against the undertray.

I had heat shield problems with my 111R around the cat - quite brittle but extremely awkward to extract. It showed up as a resonance from time to time, but I just got used to it after a while. The Exige, on the other hand, enjoys such a variety of annoying rattles and noises that I don't know where to start with solving them all...
