Which outdoor cover for S1 Elise
Discussion
I have the Elemental shower cap. Had it 5 years and even though the sun has bleached it and my Mum has re-stitched a few hems, it is still going strong. I've used the hell out of it over that time.
It is very well designed and made and a perfect fit on the car. You can get the cap on and off in seconds and I highly recommended it.

I kept my S1 outside for over three years. In the early days when the top of the windows leaked (before I had them adjusted) this shower cape kept the car dry inside without fail.
At work when I've driven in on a sunny day that's turned to rain, and the cape is the only thing that covered the car it did a good job of keeping the inside dry. The only things you find are that a pool might form on it (you can brace it with a roof strut but I can't be bothered), or the wind might balloon it up (but it stays put). I leave the interior movement sensor off when the cover is on to stop false alarms for these reasons.
The cape just covers the roof, windscreen and top of the side windows. I never needed a full cover, and I don't think I'd want one. More hassle to use and store, more risk of scratching the paint, and might not let the car breath and dry out after rain.
I went up to Preston and picked it up from the chap that sells them. Nice bloke with a great interest in the car.
