Unfortunately I hadnt registered for the day, thinking I could do it at the track, so couldnt participate. As a first event it was great although a little chilly. Strangely enough I was disappointed that there werent other cars using the track, Im sure it would have put things more into perspective. Next meeting is an 'open class' day. Its also cheaper! Club Lotus day was 180 Euros with dinner. Open days are 70 euros am/pm no dinner. I think half a day at a time is perhaps enough for a beginner.
