Crap kit.
If you look at the height between the wheels and the car the suspension is obviously wrong.
I also think its a Charger all VW kits suffer from being based on a very old design wholly inappropriate for modern cars.
The Beetle was great in its day but was designed in 1936. Not suitable.
With IVA upon us these kits are best avoided I would really suggest you
LEAVE IT ALONE.

I rather think the Embassa was a derivative of the Charger and there were several other copies under different names.Having collected kit cars for 50 years I have become aware of the demise/resurgence/demise/resurgence/demise/resurgence routine some cars go through the efforts by Paul Banham which I collect (and like) being a shining example of this system.
I really think there are better cars to look at currently something based on the Zetec or Duratec 1800 drive train from which my pals in the Industry can get 200 BHP reliable output without a lot of effort.
Now fit that in a Porsche RSK copy (James Dean car) with mid engine and rear wheel drive and the Subaru boys will sit up and take notice. From behind.
Should be coming in at around 600 kilo0s with a lightweight square section chassis. These are very small cars.
If this interests you I can recommend several firms who can supply these components or build it for you. I have no financial connection with them.
See this site for an idea of the shape.
The copies I have seen are very close.
