Hi,

Have you ever previously owned or currently own a S1 Exige???????

Myself (pmyhill) and Graham (M7EXG) have teamed up and are currently trying to compile a search for all the Series 1 Exiges Made (big task we know).....

If anyone can help us then please get in touch with build number (last 4 numbers of vin) and colour (plus if its been resprayed since) plus if its original VHPD engine or been honda'd, audi'd or duractec conversion.

We currently have information on approx 165 of the believed 595 that were made - a link to what we've found so far can be found here -> http://www.exiges.com/ubbz/ubbz/ubbthreads.php?ubb...

Please either message myself or graham either on here or through any means with any information and we can update accordingly

Thanks !!!

Was in Van De Kooi Sportscars in Lochem, Holland last week getting my car serviced and they had this one for sale:

Looked like New Aluminium but hadn't seen your post so didn't get any details from it. They were very helpful and spoke english so may be worth while possibly dropping them an e-mail.

Loads have gone abroad. LMSC sold lots in France and they are mostly left hand drive cars now.

Look on Club Lotus France. You could post on there.

I just thought of one I know of here. It is orange and is now a LHD car with the standard engine in but... it went for a swim on the Island of Ree, on the west coast of France during the storm Xythia.

It is currently in bits as it was submerged for a week in sea water. It is going to be rebuild and have a Honda engine installed. I nearly bought it, until I saw it after it's bath.

If you really want the owner's details I can email them to you.

As if the anxiety of waiting for one VHPD to go bang expensively wasn't enough...?! I think you have my details on the register - #447.

That's me, yes. Sadly it won't be MGS much longer as the plate is going on retention but the car will be staying with me for some time yet. Which is yours - are you the black one with the Motorsport engine cover? I think we must have more S1 Exiges per member than any other local club. There were at least 6 present last night! So much for exclusivity, hey?

Looks fantastic! Mine is getting some A048s fitted this afternoon then I'm going to treat it to a really thorough clean and polish. Been so busy driving the thing that I've almost entirely forgotten to clean it. Yours looks stunning! Hunt me out at the next Buckles.
