This first ever continental meet/run for Lotus Europa S/SE owners will be held at... -Bruges- the "Venice of the north" in Belgium... date f"sunday 28th August".. program sunday morning breakfeast at Bruges with a run/tour thru the charming village of Damme and further into Holland Zeeland-- Knokke Belgian coastline.. with a lunch at a very pittoresk cosy Belgian restaurant... ... we can arrange for lodging b&b or hotel... follow this event evolution also on:

i think i will wait a few more days to get sure, and get more pro's and contra's..but it seems the 28 august has been initially good choice since monday 29th is a Uk bank holliday.. so it is gone be likely this date...

OK event update-
28 august 2011 is the fix date now for the Leo Europa meet /tour event @ Bruges Belgium..agreed now , especially since monday 29 aug. 2011 is a bank holliday in the UK.

Ok..day's programm.. for the Europa Run next Sunday.. see the events page..
Sunday 28 August. 10.00 hr-- Parking, breakfeast or coffee/tea at the Mayflower restaurant boat-roadbook advice etc - Adres : Bargeweg 13-8000 Brugge-
11.00 Start for a scenic walk thru the beautifull historic town center of Bruges, (lady's be aware !! lots of old coblestone streets so walking shoes recommended)-
12.30 start of the Europa Run..by roadbook aprox 60 kms. towards Damme,and Zeeuws Flanders (Holland) arrival at Nieuwvliet -t'Koekoeksnest for the Apero drink-
14.50 hr in convoy (Follow the leader) via "Retranchement" and Cadzand towards t'Zwin (nature bird reserve) parking.
15.30. Police motorcycled escort towards the final arrival place..aprox 25 minutes.
Parking on seaside walking area. Rubens plein Knokke.
Restaurant Rubens zeedijk 589 (Rubensplein) 8300 Knokke.
Late lunch served between 16.00-18.00 hr.
