I am going to import an exige s2 to Italy next year, all being well. Ideally I would like it to be lhd but I suspect that it will a rhd from the UK. Does anyone have any experience of converting a rhd to lhd and if so, is it relatively straightforward or a monumental pain in the backside? Happy to keep it in rhd form as the roads around here are pretty quiet but if it can be done easily I'm all ears. Now have the joy of looking for the perfect specimen for the next 12 months. I would love a honda'd elise S2 but no aircon is not an option here. Thanks all.

On the subject of aircon and early S2 Exiges I had an '04 N/A Exige without aircon and it was absolutely fine as when the weather was hot you could take the roof off!

It would also make it easier driving RHD on LHD roads.

I drove my RHD all over Europe during a 1 week trip last year and it was only a pita when joining a road at an angle, i.e. motorway slip roads.

Thanks so far. Aircon is a must here, I thought I could hack it with an Imprezza.....never again! Roof off helps but when summer really kicks in you need shade and aircon. Not especially bothered with right or left hand drive but should I have to move the car on it would only be possible here as lhd.
