Hi,
I've got a 2bular fitted to my exige and its fantastic. I'm thinking of going to spa and nuremburgring this year and noted noise limit is 103 db. I haven't checked the noise on mine ( says on 2bular website should be fine) but wanted to ask anyone with a simular set up if they've been fine when tracking as far as noise levels go.
Thanks for any advice

Check your satnav carefully before you set off ... biggrin

I have a 2bular 8x24 with cat (K series S2) and it passes everywhere including Goodwood (98) and Castle Combe (apparently 100, though it would be 95 anywhere else ... wink)

Also if its a TF day at the 'ring they only check if you are stupidly noisy and behaving like a cock; I've not seen testing at all on a track day there.

What's the best 2bular to go for?

And would you guys think it's worth decatting as well. I'm coming from TVR to Exige, & whilst I'm very excited at the attributes of the Lotus, I need to improve the sound, both volume & quality.

Car I'm buying is 2008 240 pp.

Cheers.

hi, i've got the standard looking 8”dia x 22” Oval system. sounds great on acceleration, but fairly quiet when cruising on lowish revs. Id recommend to anyone if they're the characteristics your looking for.

I've got a 7x22 and trd airbox on my Elise s. Not sure of exact db level put it is perfect and sure it will pass most tracks!

I think a de-cat along with the exhaust will be a bit too much.....

2Bular 8x22 thru diffuser or 8x24 GT3
I'm running an 8x24 GT3 and when it's de-cat'd you get flames on up changes, it sounds beautiful as well wink
