Hi'

A quick question, which should be an easy one I suppose.
I'm circling around the DVA K02 kit for my Elise S1 k-series (118bhp), but having all thumbs I need a professional to do the installation. How long time can I expect this will take, given that Elises are rare here in DK, so it will be a first in an Elise for the mechanic as well? Also the kit comes with a nice Emerald unit that should be plug & play right, so that's straight forward??
Dave charges ~£300 which sounds very reasonable, but it's a long drive to the UK from here :-)

Thanks in advance
Sune

Not done this so can't help but why not give Dave a call and ask him. Worth asking over on Seloc.

Fitting an emerald ECU is not plug n play to a k series - you have to cut the loom and re-attach individual wires! You might want to check Eliseparts for a plug and play ECU, I think they are offering them now.

Fitting the cams is not that technical, although timing them might be a job for an expert.

An Emerald is plug and play on an EU2 engine, but not on an EU3 engine, so it is plug and play on an S1 but not an S2. If you bought the unit from DVA then it should already have a suitable map installed to get you up and running.
