Scura spotted!
Discussion
Gorgeous Exige Scura spotted with some other lovely machinery heading into Shoreham by Sea this afternoon. I assume vetteheadracer?!
I was in the black Exige S 220 going in the other direction that you flashed. Was good to see the car on the move, I was only saying earlier in the day how I was looking forward to possibly seeing it at MB World Sunday Service tomorrow!

Hey Arun - haven't been on the FRSOC forum for a while, so I had no idea that you'd chopped in your RS on an Exige! I've hammered around enough tracks in the Exige to know that it's a truly awesome car. I've also spent enough time chasing them around tracks in my 911 to realise how amazingly rapid they are in the right hands.
I actually seriously thought about buying a Scura last year, but didn't go through with it in the end - can't remember why.
To be honest mate, given what you look for from a car, I'm surprised it took you so long to get into an Exige. For me, the RS is the "practical" car in my stable, so it's staying for a while. I've even managed to keep it standard
I sold the 911 a couple of weeks back though. I'm now waiting for my Cayman R to arrive in March. I've kept it as light as possible - I didn't even put the air-con back in, like most buyers did with the Boxster Spyder. Considering how amazing the Spyder is to drive, I'm really looking forward to getting a Cayman with the same suspension setup.
We'll have to meet up at a track day in the summer!
It's Draven from FRSOC btw

Hi Riyad,
Yes had the Exige for about 5 weeks now. What a car! I've been banging on about them for enough years now so I thought i'd better make the plunge, and very glad I did. Do let me know how the Cayman R goes when it arrives, should be a belter. Trackday sometime next year sounds like a plan, I'm sure there'll be a few I'll be attending!
