Just agreed a purchase of a 97 S1 today, I need some help with insurance.

I have all my NCD tied up in other cars, so have nothing for the elise. I want to get a limited mileage of 3K, anyone know any brokers who are good?
I'm also only 23, so someone who likes insuring youths

P.S
Anyone had problems with the drivers door not staying open?

I have mine insured with More Than. Not only did they give me a competitive quote but by insuring both of my cars with them I could have full NCD on both cars.

Had the same problem with only giving full NCD on one car, i complained and she went off to speak to her supervisor. Came back and said i could have a discount equivalent to full NCD since my other car was with them.

That was Norwich Union but the cheapest quote i got was with More Than.

Hi i found Tesco's to be the cheapest, i am 18 with a S1 1998 one years no claims. No other place would touch me, but with Tesco's you need a tracker to cover you for theft.

I'm with FJ on the Club Lotus policy and pay £530 for 3000 miles per year, no tracker required.
