It's a beautiful day, so I got up early to take my S1 for a run.

Sadly, it's out of battery (standard affair) however now I cant get the bonnet catch to operate, redering me immobilised.

It must have frozen as it was -4 yesterday but does anyone have any tricks for this?

Cheers,

Andy

Have you tried pulling on it? If you pull slightly towards the screen and up it may well pop off the catch. Mine sticks from time to time.

Assuming the cable is not broken it is easier with 2 people . One to pull the release toggle and the second to manoevere the lid until it pops open . Probably means the locking plate needs adjusting and tightening

If that does not work you can access the catch by taking a wheel arch liner off - the offside as it does not have the fusebox attached.
