Been wanting to order some new plates off the net for a while now but I want a smaller front one. Just wondering what sizes people tend to go for on here, without getting in too much trouble with the police.

I wish there was a local shop that did this instead of having to order off the internet, can't seem to find one anywhere that does it though

Thanks for any help guys

I'm sure I am not going to be the only one who says this but.......are you sure you want to get rid of your early warning system? OK, it may look a bit ugly, but it looks a lot better than a bl00dy great crack out of the front

All IMHO , of course!!

Fancyplates will do whatever you want. A 3/4 size plate is a standard option though they will make them to your specified size; some Elise owners have them made to match the plinth size.

I'm running with a 3/4 size front plate from Fancy Plates, and haven't had any bother with the police. There are loads of other VX220 owners that are running similar, also without any bother.

Though the current thing seems to be a 2/3rds size plate!

I got my smaller front plate from Bell & Colvill direct on my first Elise, but this was four years ago! Not sure if they can still offer this service but worth giving the parts dept a try.

Not my liz.

They are the wider oz's (with LSS/nitrons) that accept the yokos...and eliminate the under-steering nature of the S2.

Altough standing water is a problem!
