I am now in a position to buy an Exige S - I am not going to make the purchase until the new year as:

A) I cant imagine winter in one being particularly fun and it would be my daily drive.
B) given the snow - if some idiot hits my current car I wont care but the Exige I would
C) I dont want to have to get used to my first RWD car in the depths of winter/snow/ice

But my Q is - when are they at their cheapest?

You wont get an Exige S at its cheapest, they hold their price remarkably well and it is very much a sellers market with them.

My advice is if you see one that you like then buy it cos it may be a while before another one comes along.

CN in Northwich for example have not had an Exige S in to sell for a very long time and i have been there when they have had a customer desperate to buy one.

Incidentally, Track V Road have an absolute mint Aspen White one in stock.

Thanks for the replies - good to know so I can jump for the right one.

About £25,000 though it could be pushed for one that has the extras I want.

There were a couple of bits that needed doing when I went to look at the car, namely a defect in the rear clam in terms of paintwork cracks and some imperfections to the front splitter. Have these now been sorted? I know the guys at TvR said that the owner himself would be sorting them. Other than that, it's a beautiful car and the guys at TvR were top fellas who gave me utmost confidence if I were to deal with them.

Noy sure if they have been done or not but personally i cannot speak highly enough of TvR. If they say something will be done then it will be, cracking fellas there.

Anyone looking at servicing etc should give them a shout, great prices and service.

Did you say hi to my old BRG Elan when you was there?
