Its B service time for my 21,000 miler 99 S1 111S.

I am thinking about taking it to a 'specialist' rather than Lotus because A) they are just over HALF!! the price, B) my local Lotus dealer didn't spot something they REALLY should have when I complained about difficulty changing gear (the clutch slave cylinder was leaking - 40 miles later it packed up completely after they 'didn't find anything' and I'm just not sure they do a very good job.

Do you think a specialist would be able to do a decent job? (they are only simple cars after all) The only other thing is it needs the floors doing too on its next service, but that can wait (doesn't bother me anyway)

What do you think?

Have just had an A service at Brooke Kensington. Simon who is in charge of servicing was excellent. Less than half the price of dealers and a really personal service. the car feels fantastic. Cant recommend them enough.
