I doubt a dealer will warranty it...and even if they do they are not that good.

Id have it serviced at a specialist or Turbo Technics themselves and also ask TT if they will extend the warranty for you - think its around £700 for a track and road warranty for 1yr/12K miles

have fun

TT'd exige?

10foot Bargepole springs to mind.

One bonus is that you can cook your dinner in the 'cockpit' while driving home from work

Ah - I know the car (have a TT car myself)

its in top nick, well looked after etc...and v.fast...however nomatter how much I would like it myself I just couldnt afford the upkeep.

Its based on VHPD K series thats already in a high state of tune (say rebuild every 30-40K miles) ...then its rebuilt and supercharged.

It would be great as a 2nd car for weekend and track use - but i wouldnt want to have to depend on it daily...and you will die of heat stroke in it during the summer.

If its going to be a w/e toy then go for it....if you intend on commuting in it daily and tracking it at the weekend then maybe not.

Don't dismiss other models in the Elise range, they're still quick cars!

You might want to give Turbo Technics a call and see if their S2 Elise TT190 demo car is for sale still - its got sports suspension and OZ wheels/yokos on it (£3K upgrade) on it - think they wanted £20K ish for it...not sure

Its still very quick (sub 5 to 60, sub 12 to a ton)..but much more suitable/reliable for daily use - I have the same but a TT230 and use it daily for 20-30K miles a year
