In a bit of a pickle!

Ok so the plod pulled me for my front plate and also slapped my with a rectification notice for my tyres. I've ordered new tyres from www.mytyres.co.uk but have just been informed that I probably wont receive them until 13th April, which is the deadline for the rectification notice, bugger!

So, and it's a hell of a long shot(!), would any of you lovely folks we willing to lend me 2 S1 rear wheels with legal tyres while I pop to an MOT station and get the rectification form signed off?

There'll be a packet of hobnobs in it for you or something.

Edit to say - I'm based in Kent but am willing to travela bit!

So were your tyres actually illegal or were the cops being knobs?

Don't have any tyres for you unfortunately. Why not try ordering from somewhere else. Mytyres aren't exactly famed for delivering on time anyway.

They're barely on the wear markers so bordering on legal.

I would order some more but I don't think I can cancel my order with mytyres and don't want to be left out of pocket with double the amount of tyres I need! :-/

Bugger - I just had my P Zero's replaced with Advans and chucked out the rear's as they were near the marker too mate. Have the fronts in the cellar (with plenty of tread) but that doesn't help you much... and my rears are on gold rims which might look a tad shady on your car!

Did you try calling mytyres and cancelling?

Yeah I've emailed mytyres to see if they'll cancel. Bugger! Well in the case that I end up with 2 sets of rear toyos...does anyone need a set of unused rear toyos?!

Never fear, cancelled my mytyres order and getting Tim Stevens to ship yres to me tomorrow. Good man
