111R Delivery Problems

Anyone else having problems getting delivery of a 111R that they have ordered.

Mine I am told went into production mid March but is still nowhere to be seen. Apparently it is due to a parts shortage at the factory, but that’s been the case for over a week now.

Anyone know what’s up at Hethel and where the Fed Ex man is with the parts

Yep, midlands lotus dealer

Got nothing with both Air con & touring pack though in stock, there are delays at present, so your not being told porkies

Arhhh - so you must know the insider Lotus news on the delays . Any idea what the part is and how many cars are affected ?

Waiting for wheels for the S2 Exige apparently, local dealer not getting his demonstrator till end of month....

i ordered my 111s back in feb.no car yet. i have also been advised this due to a component shortage. im hoping / praying that i get my car this week. i also understand that the dealer is also miffed as the they are still waiting for their new Exige demo. Is anyone else waiting for their lotus?

Finally got behind the wheel of my 111R last week - well, well worth the wait. Feel v. sorry that you have had to wait so long for your 111S. Who's your dealer ?

I get mine next week, the dealer told me there was a long waiting list for people wanting air con, they have a stock list with three at the mo all with the touring pack and no aircon

Ahhh, another Peter Smith's client (I guess from that stock list). How are you getting on with them? I dealt mainly with David - top bloke.

Im dealing with a guy in guildford, great guy who has been honest all the way... i like from a car salesman as you dont get it often
