Picked up my Elise yesterday. Wth the crap weather I was glad I went for one with the hard top.

Now I need to give it a good clean already and learn how to take the hard top off.

Just wanted to check one thing was normal - if in the car and it's locked you have to unlock with the button on the centre console or the key as pulling the door handle doesn't seem to unlock it.

Remembering back to when I had an S2 Elise, I think that you are correct- however it was very seldom I drive with the doors locked.

Cannot verify as changed to Evora but sure someone will be able to quickly check for you.

Why do you drive it with the doors locked??
Anyway, yes its right, the door handles wont open the doors unless they are unlocked.

I didn't lock them on purpose, just playing with stuff and then found the door wouldn't open with the handle and due to the car being locked.

Also does anyone know best way to get stains and bits off the amourfend?
