S1 windows

Usual problem in that the fixings have become detached from the mechanism (despite me using more than enough glue last time) - no problem, have spares - however despite adjusting ad infinitum they never run smooth / freely. Someone once mentioned replacing the runner lining in the door to solve this - any ideas greatly appreciated?!

I put silicon spray in the felt runners slides up and down with ease, and helps the mech stay stress free.
