best owners club

Which is the best Lotus club to join, club lotus or SELOC? (joining SELOC seams abit daft when i'm up in the north east but you seam to get good discounts off insurance and parts)
are the discounts offered worth it?

SELOC is way better and its not SE, its global! You don't have to pay to join seloc either, it just gives certain advantages like first dibs on track days etc.

I'm a member of OLC, just for the preferential insurance, and the Lotus Life magazine, which is interesting, if not actually useful. I've had brief contact with SELOC, which was helpful, but can't see what benefits I would get........ maybe they'd like to state their case:

OLC is expensive for a magazine full of ads IMO

only one worth joining is SELOC which incorpoates all of the local Lotus groups

if you join as a paid up member you get an excellent magazine + other bits n bobs, 1st refusal on discounted trackdays + all the benefits on that page...you'll save the £20 fee the 1st time you have your car serviced/insured/first trackday etc
