Chrome/satin VX windshield surround for elise?

I noticed that there is a metal windscreen surround on the VX220 etc- does anyone know if this can be fitted to the elise (same windscreen frame?) is there a vauxhall part number for this? (I've got a starlight black 111s- would like the metal finish to break up the black a little)

I'd be suprised if the VX has the same windscreen and surround as the Elise, but I confess that I have no clue, hopefully someone geeky like Arno will be able to step in and say if they're the same.
Or you could get a can of silver spray paint from Halfords and a roll or masking tape from B&Q. Should cost less than a fiver.

The surround on the Speedster/VX is also plastic, like on the S2, just silver instead of black.
It should fit on an S2 too, but the tinhg I'm not sure about (have to check my parts list at home..) is if this is a separate part or comes pre-bonded to the windscreen itself.

Australia to my knowledge has only 1 VX220 that was brought out here for testing for sale (like you guys in the UK get our Holden Monaro and HSV cars under vauxhall), but I have never seen one in the flesh, so its hard to tell these details.
I thought the surround may be a metal bit that sticks on with double sided tape (did this on my old z3)
