Flexi pipe help please

So I jump into the car to go for a much missed blast after 8 weeks of not driving due to my broken collar bone, 10mins in my flexi pipe gives up the goast. Best place to get one please ? I see Elise parts has a moded version for £140 is it worth it or should I just get a std MG/rover bit? It also looks very tight on the down pipe bolts to get to, I might have to admit defeat and get the dealer to fix it

How long are you planning on keeping the car? If the answer is a while, get the stainless steel one. The nuts aren't easy to undo on the down-pipe, but a good soak in penetrating oil, patience, maybe a bit of heat, and a bit of foul language will help. I did mine with no major problems.

Have no plans to sell it (ever!) I have now purchased a Jan speed one to match the rear box, best dig out the blow torch!!
