Hi guys, I have ventured over from the dark side

I have been looking for a pair of seats to replace my Elise series 1 seats in my tiv.

Looking for black, tan or d/green Exige if possible.

If any of you have/know of a pair for a sensible price, please contact me.

Thanks..........

There's a pair of black leather seats out of a 111R in the Seloc classifieds for 400 notes if that helps smile

Hey Peter! Post up a pic when you get then fitted. I certainly recommend getting the series 2 Probax seats. These are awesome in a TVR. As far as I know i am the only one with them fitted. Seems to put the purists off the car though! philistines...

Hi Jon, can't believe the prices of those Probax seats!

Got my eye on these at the mo;

If you see anything decent, let me know.

Thanks for the input so far guys.

Yeah, £500-700 quid is about the norm. £700 for mint pair. They hold their price due to the number of people swapping out the uncomfortable s1 seats. I paid £550 for the Probax Alacantra with carbon effect leather seats for my TVR and £500 for the Probax plain cloth for my Else S1.

Jon.

Where did you get your's from, they were a reasonable price.?

There was an ideal black & tan pair from a 2 eleven on ebay last week, (same colour as my interior).

They went for £1016!!!!!!!!!

I will also try Douglas Valley next week.

Private sales on SELOC.

The pair I have in the Lotus are brand new cloth exige seats taken out to convert the car to a race car! Lucky find.

Sorry Stainless, not got a tape and the car to hand at the mo. The Lotus seats do fit comfortably in the Chim though. In that respect they will prob go in any other TVR. Use the Lotus seat runners and fibre glass some ally box section into the flor pan to take the lotus seats. Sounds like a pain, but not that much work really. Dont get the motorsport ones though as these have much wider wings at the shoulders/top.

We know who bought the Lotus Sport black and yellow seats for £1019.00, we also know who's selling the black and grey seats on ebay. Both pairs look really great and both in similar condition even tho big price difference.;)
