Hi all on my b service i was told that ball joints are worn i see the parts are cheap, any ideas on cost to fit?? also my noisy fuel pump..any ideas?? anyone else got a noisy one??????????

And then take the bits down to a friendly local garage and get them to press out the old ones for a tenner, then either use a screw-press to put the new ones in or get the garage to do those as well.

(Assuming you have such a friendly local garage, Benny's tyres and exhausts in Leighton Buzzard does bits like that for us for a few quid a throw. If your in the area speak to Benny Top bloke, very flexible on pricing and top-notch service)

£30 a balljoint all in, but that process does invove taking an armload of bits off your Elise and carting them down the road.
