He has a 98 Elise for 17k, I think they've hit the 2 instead of 3.

Thats priced right if not a little high maybe??

I didnt pay too much more for my Elise Club Racer which is brand new. that has 9k on the clock with less spec.

You have mail.

The price i have emailed to you was approximately £500 better (IIRC) than the price i could have got it for at Dick Lovett.

It seems the dealers have really struggled to sell the sky blue club racers which i find strange cos mine has drawn more attention and complimentary comments than any other Lotus ive owned.

Out of all the dealers i have spoken with i find them by far the most arrogant.

A good ole pure lotus. Always a bit on the pricey side. Nice enough fella though.

I'm wondering if you'll now be able to pick up the 'old' model on a new plate in base spec for £20k... Anyone know?

Short answer no, even the S2 Elise S is going to set you back around 24.5k minimum for a new car. Lotus Elise have increased in price over the last year or so and have always had strong residuals

I am very tempted by a Club Racer. Is the Elise ok left outside?

Ha, I meant the paint doesn't bubble like a VX220, it doesn't leak, etc. The car won't degrade faster for being left outside...?
