Lotus Exige S1
Discussion
Hello All,
I've been going a bit crazy with the buying/selling of cars recently and to cap it off I picked this up on Saturday It's an S1 Lotus Exige with only 7.5k miles on the clock and hence a minter!
I'll be down at the Goodwood Breakfast Club tomorrow, so will try and take a few additional photos then.

601 for sure
In the engine bay pic, up against the firewall, is that oil cooler lines along the firewall on the upper right hand side? that doesn't look standard?
VERY tidy looking though.... is it just as clean/corrosion free underneath and on the rear subframe? If so, it's a pearler!

I *think* you're refering to the Air-Con pipes? I don't know anyone who has ever got the system to work and I even requested the dealer refresh the system before buying - opening the window has a greater cooling effectIn the engine bay pic, up against the firewall, is that oil cooler lines along the firewall on the upper right hand side? that doesn't look standard?

As for underneath/subframe - all of it is in mint condition - part of me feels guilty driving it, but I'll take some pictures when I get a chance
Aah, of course... aircon, I forgot about that :P (Mine's a non-aircon car, something I was specifically looking for).
But yeah, I agree most people reckon it's pretty hopeless at the best of times
Don't feel guilty about driving it... just keep it well cleaned and whenever it's winter, for god's sake don't drive it on the wet roads with the salt residue! My car was driven on winter roads in the UK perhaps a handful of times in its lifetime and it's amazing the damage that was done.... thankfully nothing that can't be put right though!
What number is yours duggan? (Last three numbers of the VIN)
