Front Left Indicator has fallen out
Discussion
As the title says - fell out the other day and found that one of the plastic retaining clips that holds it into the fron clam had broken. I found the bit and unfortunately it is the wrong type of plastic to super glue together.
Ordered a new one and should have it within the next week.
Question - is it just a simple matter of pushing it into the hole in the clam? I scared the plastic springy bit may break as I put the indicator housing in.

Yes, it's that simple - however, in my experience, once they start to go, they go - I ended up getting mine glued in....(was on third indicator by then)Ordered a new one and should have it within the next week.

Mine once fell out on the motorway at 70ish mph. Made a bit of a mess of the clam in the process.
The newer ones are slightly more robust, not much though!!
I "fixed" my old one when it happened to me (whilst waiitng for the new one to come) by melting the plastic clip back into place using a soldering iron

Yep they go, and looking at the price lotus would of charged me it costs about £74 + fitting. TBH dead easy to fit and the mech guy used some silcon to bond the unit to the clam as he said they do go and i should watch out for the other side. But tbh 10 months later i've had no problem with it.
