Just put these on the Exige. Full Carbon Fibre, not the blended with Glass stuff, so now it is so light is goes 6 squillion mph smile

There are other bits available to but right now I didn't go for them.... but in time....

Always wanted to keep the car standard but I couldn't resist

Thanks Mike.

They were a direct fit as well, took only a few minutes, as they were moulded from parts taken off an S2 so all the holes needed for fixing are in the right places. They are really good quality and obviously extremely light. He tells me the centre tunnel for example is only 35% the weight of the original ally one.

Anyway,I got them though a great chap I met through the TVR Club strangely!! I'll send you a PM with his details, no point me getting in the middle.

Cheers, David

I'd be gratefull if you could also PM me with his details.

Don't know if he can help. I've got an S1 and like you really want to keep the car as standard as possible but they look great....

How much for the sidestep covers?

They look great - my OE ones are scratched to buggery.

Do they go over the originals or do you have to remove them?

I'll send a PM with some info and also the contact details as better you deal with him direct.

These are replacements but all the holes are in the right places so it is an easy fit, took me about 10 mins per side, the longest part of the job was getting the originals off!!

HTH.

I know, I know, it is a slippery slope. Like the speaker covers and the centre console, looks really good. I did say last week that it really needs speaker covers to complete the door opening part.

Need to save a few more pennies and then talk sweetly to my good lady smile

i know there are aseveral having been done before (the australian one wiht the audi engine and the sebon one for example) - in fact you can still buy front and rear clams from some american for an S2 - but has anyone discovered anyone who can provide a full set of carbon body panels for either S1 or S2 'off the peg' - or are sebon the only ones?
