Stupid Question?

Ok this is probably a really dumb question, but i just replaced a full set of boots from p zero,s to advans...the p zero,s have bout 1mm left on them [disclaimer] i was not driving on her maj,s public highway [/disclaimer] and are on rims....i got my first track day booked for end of may, .....[i wouldnt say im tight but i can allways think of something else to spend money on, ie cams,head bla bla] soooo will the pzero,s be worth putting on (and will i get home?) or shall i muller the advans?
i dont mind a bit of fun and sliding but its my first track day n dont want to waste it by being over ambitious.
what u recon?

Dump the PZero's...

With 1mm tread left they are not going to work very well anymore and the Advans will be much better anyway..

Just keep it smooth and check your tyre pressures and the wear on the Advans should not be too bad anyway.

Convert the P Zeros to slicks - and enjoy the slides o plenty whilst your doing it!

The car will behave very differently on the 'treadless tyres' than on new ones - you might as well get used to it on your everyday tyres - as it's your first track day you're unlikely to be on the limit anyway so it won't damage them too much.

Slicks will bend your toe-links, you need LSS to run them.
