Just had a cracking couple of days at Peckforton Castle then a stop off at Oulton Park on the way home.

Gave me a chance to take some more pics to share with you. (guess who has just discovered how to use Photobucket).

I know most of you have probably driven faster than the car i was a passenger in at Oulton but it was the first time for me as a passenger in anything where i dont have the abilty to tell the driver to slow down. It was an absolute buzz and i am still shaking.

Not boring - it's always good to hear about people having fun in cars! Go do it some more!!! biggrin

ETA ...and Oulton Park is a VERY good place to do it - my no.1 favourite circuit in this country.

Possibly they are down the gym every day. I did a drifting course last weekend at Millbrook and am still having probs with my back, legs etc. In my case though I am not letting the car do the work.

My head would also be hurting if i hadnt worn a helmet. The amount of times i banged it on the roll bar type thingy was ridiculously funny.

The driver was like The Stig, he never said one word to me before i got in, as he drove (obviously) and when i got out. He was almost robot like. I was in awe at the way he handled the car so effortlessly.

In a strange sort of way, it has given me a little more confidence when driving even though i was only a passenger.

I enjoyed being a passenger today more than any track day ive been on. It really was amazing hence me still harping on about it and boring the pants off people!! biggrin
