Overall it would probably be a good thing if they had been bought by TATA - anyone could do a better job than these lunatics. All the good people are either gone or are going, they've had two CEOs go in the last year (neither of them knew what they were doing), there are no new cars being developed for the future and the dealers have had enough and are losing confidence in the product and the company. Many industry people think that Lotus has really had it this time - they've got no engineering work because they cocked up the development of the Aston Martin Vanquish and no manufacturer wants to pay for technology that could be used against them in the market by Proton.
