FSH & Corrosion

Ok so in order to get my errosion sorted I need a FSH, and thus a valid warranty. My car has been maintained as per the service book but doesn't actually have a Lotus stamp for the last service. Is my warranty void?

Give lotus a ring on : 01953 608000 (Hethel Switchboard Number)

They should be able to point you to their customer services and confirm whether or not your warranty is still in force.

Technically they cant void a warranty for not having a main dealer history, so long as a car has been maintained to the correct standard.

They would also have a hard time justifying the voiding of a corrosion warranty as a result of servicing no matter what the circumstance of the service history.

I take it you're asking about the corroded floor pan?

If so, then it's covered by your 7(IIRC?) year chassis warranty which will be valid regardless of whether you have had your car serviced at a main dealer or a specialist (or even if you've done your own servicing).
