brake change impressions

Well I have upgraded my brake pads from the standard to some Pagid RS42s. In the spirit of scientific comparison I deliberately changed nothing else at all.
impressions (this is now a month into them)....MASSIVELY better. I cannot explain how much better they are. Initial bite is good and actual stopping power eye-watering. havent had any nasty lock-ups at all (which used to happen with the old ones) and havent had any isues with them being cold to start.

I would say they are superior to the standard items in every way.....

Get the braded hoses now and notice how the brake pedal doesnt feel spongey anymore!

Yep, I have the RS-42s and braided hoses and control is excellent on the road but absolutely superb on track. After a couple of laps of a circuit, you get such a feel for what the tyres are doing under braking, it makes the whole experience really enjoyable.
