Hi again, just remembered something else to ask.

My silver elise came with 111s rims and im thinking about painthing them - is this a bad idea? I have seen a car with dark silver / black and that looked great, but they were not the same design as the ones on mine!

Any suggestions or pics would be great.

ps - 1st time in the snow this morning, was a little tricky.................but great fun!

If you do decide to have them painted (looks great imo) avoid powdercoating, get them done in a car bodyshop. Bit more expensive but powdercoating has been known to weaken the alloy due to the temperature that is required for curing.
