Anyone else have one of these?

I put one on my Sportsracer and while it's superbly light I have to say it's far too noisy for me. Definitely noisier than a Lotus stage 2.

Just wondering if that's what they're all like or whether mine hasn't been fitted correctly perhaps?

It sounds great (really great) above 6200 but it's painfully boomy between 3 and 5k, even on a light throttle. Earplugs are now compulsory on a long journey.

I shall be reverting to my weedy stage 1 system at the next service.

Not just yours... I test drove a 111R with one on and it was crazy. I've never heared an exhaust that made an elise sound as much like a GT car - I fluffed an upshift and the pops and bangs were awesome! BUT... My god the drone! I only drove the thing for about 20 minutes and I actually wanted to get out and take a drill to my temple!!

If anyone is interested in a ridiculously light, ridiculously noisy exhaust for a toyota elise, mine will be coming up for sale.

I'll throw in a pair of free earplugs!
