Hi, i'm currently looking at the new Lotus Elise s3 and hope to buy one in the near future. I just wanted to know do Lotus offer any discounts whatsoever on any of their cars? The price is the only thing that is niggling me abit, seems like it's about £2-3k too much!

I doubt you will get that much off at all considering it is a) Summer (Well should be anyway) b) new model.

More likely too get stuff thrown in to come to a deal.

Lotus don't sell 100,000 cars a year like Porsche therefore the costs and margins to build and sell these cars aren't that great.

Not had much luck in getting a discount in the past. You might manage to get some merchandise or a track day (not in your own car) if you try

If you were willing to go for an S2 then I am sure that any that are still in the dealer networks would be open to some form of deal.

Better rear end too laugh

I was talking to Tom at Christopher Neil in Northwich and he was certainly suggesting there is a good discount available on new Elises - certainly in to 3 figs. Think they are trying to clear a few before the new VAT rate comes along and slows new car sales further.

You'll get a discount alright, those prices are silly at the moment

Received the same e-mail from Frosts of Hove. Was a bit confussed by it as initially it says on a new Elise but then further down it mentions the Evora, Exige and Elise
