Everytime I go down a steep incline into a garage or up a pavement it breaks by heart how easily the paint comes off the bottom, right through to the fibreglass.

Anyone got any suggestions. I was thinking of some kind of metal bar just covering the front bits either side of the number plate.(if that makes sense)

it breaks my heart (and my bank balance)when i hear it scraping on the concrete. bugger!

Yeah I was exactly the same when I heard the front of my S2 scraping but I've kinda got used to it now!

Its going to happen as its low at the front and sometimes can't really be avoided. I think when it starts to get really bad (not to the point of no return )I may do something about it, but until then I'll just try and ignore it!

Have you seen what Bogies got on the front of his car!? I think IIRC it covers up the two little pointy thingys either side of the numberplate. Have a look on his profile mate.

Never had that problem, mate. Where exactly do you live, with such steep curbs?

Same here very rare to scrape and when I do its the numberplate that I set as the lowest bit of the car.

If it looks steep or a bit big I nose in very gently to see if it scrapes.

I get this when I come off my driveway as there's no ramped curb, just a nice 3 ince drop! Go slowly and consider laying carpet on your drive...

I have a really steep drive. I have about one inch clearance on the plate everytime I pull in or leave the house. If I eat too many pies I will have to move.
