After seeing one in the flesh I changed my mind and got it fitted, it looks more aggressive and a lot better than the stock spoiler. Car feels much more stable at high speed as well (its definitely noticeable). Lotus claims it reduces drag as well.

If anyone is interested in getting one fitted Wayne at Sinclaires Motorsport has them in stock and its an hours labour to fit. Lotus Genuine Spoiler is ~£140 to buy + paint + fitting so you can do it for well less than £300 notes which is a bargin given a replacement front splitter from Lotus is £250.

Have you ever followed one with the new spoiler? Middles bounces and flexes like a good 'un smile

surprisingly high AOA on it.... I imagine it's lift/drag ratio is not great?

Just look at pics of the 2010 model Exiges, it'll be almost identical

What happens to the holes in the lid from the old spoiler?

I'm in the US at the moment so will take some more piccies when I get back, its the same as any 2010 Exige so there is plenty of side shots on the internet.

The holes from the stock spoiler are still there but aren't that noticeable, I guess mainly because my car is black.

I will be reverting back to my Bumble Bee of Black and Yellow side pods, front splitter and rear spoiler sides very soon. After all the abuse I got on SELOC for it I think its time to bring it back smile

I'd say fit the Elise SC rear spoiler instead. Looks wise it matches the Elises "softer" nature but boy does it do the business - oh yes.

That's mine - yehaaa!!
