Just to let you know that this months EVO magazine contains an Elise buyers guide.

Its Hugh Marriages Elise in the pics - I don't know if he posts here?

Someone ought to tell him to take the Pirelli P6000's off it... Why do people bother with one of the greatest handling road cars of all time and then stick cr@p tyres on?

I thought it was typically simplistic, you would have to be pretty green to buy a car based upon their limited analysis. Was good however to see such a positive write up about the Elise tho!

Do you mean the Exige buyer's guide, Tim?

I agree with Will above - you wouldn't buy an Elise based purely on their article, however you'd add it to the list of learning that you'd do - along with forums, owner's clubs etc.
