Another forum I frequent has a full on "Was it you?" section.. That if you see someone who you think might be from the forum, post up a pic, a reg, or a description of their car.. and see if it's anyone from the forum, or if they know who it is.

I dont know if there's been anything like this on here.. But it's worth a try as a thread I guess?

I saw this in Liverpool during the week.. E17 XGE, was it you?

Note. iPhone pic.. I was in the middle of a campus tour too!

PH'er? Isn't that the thing that tells you if its acidic or an alkali hehe
On a serious note I don't think I've seen any one where I live (swansea) that's made me think "mm could be a ph'er" although I'm looking out for lusifer's mustang (bit of a fan of the cars see!)

IIRC that is actually a rebodied VX220 Turbo with big power. (This could be complete bullst. Think I saw it on SELOC a while ago)

I did say that it could be bullst! It was the black/grey/yellow livery that twigged something in my mind.

Not a chance in hell with those wheels. VXTs have 5 bolt hubs, that car has normal Exige wheels with 4 bolt hubs.

Anyway, why rebody a VXT? They're great cars in their own way. If you don't like the VXT shape, there's the Europa. And if you like the Exige but don't like the engine, then the Audi turbo conversion is very VXT-like but with even more power.

Can't see the picture but is it a black one?

Ah read the thread properly so I guess it is a black one. So my next question is was it a 240R? Its just that there is sometimes one parked near me house that has a very similiar registration plate.

It's not the rebodied VXT, that was significantly more wild-looking (it used Exige GT3 carbon fibre clams). From memory it also has well over 400bhp.

You can swap the Elise hubs onto the VX, the upgraded hubs that Eliseparts or similar sell are a upgrade route for the VX. It's far from a *common* mod, but there are several cars out there with Elise hubs and because of that Elise wheels.
