Chaps,

Just had a spanking set of new Pirelli P Zero's put on the rear to try to keep the damn thing pointing straight(ish). Just a quick question, what pressure should they be inflated to? Not that I don't trust the grease monkeys who put them on, it's just that...................................................I don't

Filling a tyre is like taking a bird out who is out of your league:

Let me elaborate, gentleman:

you want her quite pissed, but not rat-arsed.

Thus it is a balancing act of barcardi breezers. Has she had too many? (is there enough air?). Too many and she will go "pop", but too little, and she wont succumb to the camcorder you have set-up at home, or "handle" as well as she could.

Indeed the analogy is striking.

If im wrong, may the roof collapse on my head

RTFM for recommended pressures!!

Alternatively most cars (don't know about Elises) have the recommended pressures listed on the back of the fuel flap.

According to the service manual:

Front 1.6bar/23psi
Rear (205 tyre) 1.7/24.5psi
Rear (225 tyre) 1.9/27.5psi

I thought they were all 225s on the back?

Don't think so unless they're on one of the stickers under the bonnet.

Mmmmmm, keeping it in a straight line with P0's is going to be difficult regardless of the air pressure!! Advans are better!
